Nikka Nine Decades 90th Anniversary Limited Edition 700ML

This limited edition is a world blended whisky incorporating whiskies from nine decades, 1940s to 2020s, distilled at Nikka's 6 distilleries: Yoichi, Miyagikyo, Nishinomiya, Moji, Satsumastukasa, and Ben Nevis Distillery in Scotland.

More than 50 whisky batches, including the oldest malt whisky reserve from Yoichi Distillery and Miyagikyo Distillery, and new grain whisky from Moji and Satsumastukasa, and long matured grain whisky from Nishinomiya, have been selected representing Nikka's heritage and future, and skillful blending embraces them into perfection. 

Bottled at 48% ABV, this is non-chill filtered to best maximize its distinct flavors and enhance the rich texture. the bottle with the Nikka emblem is crafted using "Edo-bori" carving, a glass carving technique born in Tokyo, which derived from western sandblast carving. This unique bottle shape was developed when Nikka launched The Nikka 40 years old for the 80th anniversary in 2014. The design featured on the capsule includes 9 overlapping 9-square shapes expressing the perfect harmony of whiskies from the nine decades. 6-colored checkered backgrounds represent the 6 distilleries. Each bottle comes in a special display box that features the names and signatures of past and current master/chief blenders, beginning with Nikka's founder, Masataka Taketsuru.
