Packed with ultra-fine tannins and a vast array of dark fruit, truffle, blackberry, and cherry pie. There is a trace of China five spice way in the background, a hint of saddle leather, and a decadent chocolate plum pudding, crème caramel with a touch of Cuban tobacco. It is a sexy composition of complexity, so layered and beguiling. I can get lost in there…mesmerized in fact.

Hundred Acre Morgan’s Way was the very first vineyard farmed with Jayson’s dear friend, Jim Barbour in 2000. The soil is ancient clay mixed with volcanic pebbles and black obsidian glass scattered here and there from the eruption of Mt. St. Helena, many eons ago. The 2021 growing season turned out a micro crop of perfect, harmonized berries packed with ultra-fine tannins and a vast array of dark fruit and a composition of complexity.
