Bowmore 1964 Trilogy Series

Three of the most iconic scotch whiskies ever released: Bowmore Black, White, and Gold. All three were taken from casks first filled in 1964, with their names and colour reflecting the type of cask used. Black spent 42 years in the finest Oloroso sherry casks while White rested 43 years in ex-bourbon casks, making it the opposite of the Black in name, colour and, flavour. The final release of the series, Bowmore Gold, met the two previous whiskies in the middle, having spent its 44 years in a combination of both Oloroso and Bourbon casks. Less than 830 of each of these whiskies were released. Individually, the whiskies from this series are highly sought after and coveted when gained, but the trilogy itself is worth more than the sum of its parts and will be the true treasure in any collector’s collection.
